My eight year old son goes to this school. I have personally witnessed many children being beaten up or jumped everyday after school or at recess. When I brought this to the administrative staff’s attention I was told to call the 77th Precinct because there is one security guard on site who can not leave their post and there was nothing they could do. After calling the 77th precinct I was told to call 911 if I saw any other children get hurt. What is this? I am a working parent who can’t not be there 24 hours. In addition there are over 40 children per class; there is absolutely no supervision inside or outside of this school. I could not afford to keep my son in private school which is the only reason he attended this school. This was the worst decision I could have ever made. The fact that there is a huge park and the children’s museum is right next to this school should do some justice for this school but is doesn’t because the children who attend this school do not actually use these facilities. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
PS... if you can keep your kids in a Private School that’s the best thing to do. NYC public schools are and will always be horrible
