When we were there, a lot of the facilities were closed due to renovation. But you still have to pay full price. Regardless of that, there's really not a whole lot to see there. Some fishes, sharks and sea lions...but that's about it. The shark tank was a joke - you could hardly see in through the windows.
The sea lion exhibit was fun, but of course turned into an environmentalist propaganda show. You know this is supposed to be fun for the kids right? Guess what, they don't care about the current state of the shark population...
Turned out the highlight of the tour was the 10 minute long 4D Spongebob movie.
Not worth it...

It was great before the hurricane but most PDF the exhibitions are still closed. I expect it to be better after all the constructions are done. The one star rating is for the parking. People who manage the parking area horrible. In summer they don't want to stay too long on the street to do their job. So they allow cars to enter once every half an hour. They said the parking lot is full while there were plenty of spaces.

Sea lion show is the best and this aquarium has no crabs! Admittedly small, they do cram a lot of of sea life such as sharks, walruses, otters, and penguins, into it. Also, their 4D experience is fun.

I have been coming here since I was little and wish they would change up the exhibits. Next summer the aquarium will be complete after the hurricane. Looking forward to seeing the new and updated exhibits.

I went with my family in the 1st week of November - it's great that it's open year-round. Currently under renovations in which they'll be adding a shark exhibit in 2016, there's still plenty to see. If you come willing to learn about the animals, expect to be here an hour or two. Watching the sea lion perform was entertaining but lasted only 15 minutes. Penguins, sharks, a Walrus, and a variety of fish can be found throughout the aquarium. The Spongebob 4D movie will thrill children and is included with the price of admission or you can pay $6 to just watch the movie.
Tickets are a bit cheaper online than buying at the ticket window so I would recommend buying before going. Be sure to ask what time the sea lion show and the penguin/sea otter feedings start when you get to the entrance. Some shows/exhibits might be closed or canceled due to weather so keep that in mind. For the price of admission, you can't go wrong coming here. I'm looking forward to the aquarium's new look in 2016.
