I had the unfortunate experience of receiving a bikini wax at this Magic Fingers location recently. I had previously gotten my eyebrows waxed here without complaint or complications, but my second waxing experience left much to be desired. Not only was I minimally waxed, but the waxer proceeded to pluck the majority of the area instead (which leads to in-grown hairs -- plucking is hugely frowned upon), and when I protested, she insisted on plucking, "to make the area clean". To further clean the area, she doused the skin in rubbing alcohol (which is supposed to reduce the presence of bumps, though it is recommended for NEXT DAY USE), and then proceeded to pluck the area further. The result was a raw and severely irritated bikini line, which left me in serious pain for well over the next 24 hours -- I was unable to sit, stand, walk (or shower, for that matter) for over a day. Thanks to Neosporin + Pain Relief, I have now regained these capacities 3 days later, but instead of the clean bikini lines I originally went for, the area is now peeled and scarred.
