The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is a state agency responsible for maintaining the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The tolls on the Turnpike are a little high. But at least they are paid by the drivers who use it, not everyone else. And it is better maintained than the freeways. The cops on the Turnpike are notorious for racial profiling. If your car breaks down you are financially screwed. They don't allow motorists to use AAA or any other motor clubs.

The new Jersey turnpike is a racket. I got a flat with no spare I was hung up on by the guy on the phone while I was still trying to explain my situation. And I was told by the police I could not have someone bring me my spare. Oh and i had a trailer on my truck so one of my employees came you to get it, but the the tow truck driver didn't let me hook it up he had to call another tow truck to get it.
Sorry if I am missing words I am so mad.
