Anyone looking for quality helpful service and knowledgeable people, stay away from this place.. Very unfriendly people, horrible service, and high prices, also their so called gunsmith who i believe is named Jeff, doesnt know what the hell he is talking about in alot of cases

Terrible attitude towards customers. After Ray's Sport Shop closed (a much better place), they have become very arrogant, especially the fat guy (forgot his name). Tried to haggle a price and he says "do you think this is a flea market?" Anyhow, I purchased a used Sig .40 cal from them, I told them I needed ammo and the guy gives me 9mm cartridges...? Found out after I got home, had to drive back and exchange them to where the guy said I asked for 9mm....which obviously I didn't. All in all, stay clear away, they are very pompous after Ray's Sport Shop closed. And if you must go there, haggle. They're prices are 15-20% higher than other competitors.

Great customer service and very reasonable prices. There aren't many gun stores here in NJ, and from what I read, most fail at providing a good quality customer service. I found that the Guild was the complete opposite. The sales staff is very patient and ready to answer any questions you may have. Sometimes you may need to wait a bit to be helped, because buying a gun in this "wonderful" state is a major pain. Understandably, the process is time consuming. But I found that the treatment you get form the Guild is superior to other gun stores in the area.

Hit and miss with this place. Their FFL fee (as of feb'11) is $100. They REALLY do not want to xfer for you.
Some of the sales is helpful, some cannot give you the time of day. Steer clear of Gort. Try for the younger gentlemen, like Matt, or the owner.
Beware of prices: they do alright with some of the used pieces but the markup on new leaves plenty of room to haggle.

I just recently purchased 2 firearms from the Guild (Glock 23 and 30SF) and I have to say their customer service and prices on NEW and USED firearms were remarkable. For whatever reason when you walk into a store that sells firearms the employees snub you and automatically give you an attitude..... NOT AT THE GUILD!!! They have the most knowledgeable staff that I've come across so far. I highly recommend that you do your business in a place that backs their product and treats you with respect that you deserve... Just ask for Joe, See you guys soon =)
