So I was told by a friend that this place is very good, decided to try. When I try a new Chinese take out I usually order a wonton soup, some fried chicken wings, and a beef with broccoli with extra sauce, I feel like that gives me a good idea of the quality of the food.
Wonton Soup - The soup looked and smelled good, however it was very bland even with ample amounts of soy sauce. The wontons were sort of doughy but the flavor was good.
Chicken Wings(Well Done) - Big, meaty, and tasty. The wings were the star of the meal, very good flavors. If I go back to New China Kitchen, it will be for the wings.
Beef w/ Broccoli - Beef was tender but very bland, broccoli kind of tough and flavorless. Extra sauce I ordered never made it into the pan I guess, and any sauce that was there got absorbed by the rice before I had a chance to sit down and eat.
Being a bit on the expensive side, I would go back but only for those Chicken Wings.
