New Century Imaging

Unacceptable medical ethics! Was turned away from an annual mammogram. Made a night appointment because I work. Waited about 30 min and was then told by Lisa to come back during the day, so a doctor could read my results live and do a biopsy on the spot if needed. Presumptive? She told me if I can't get time off from work, to come back tomorrow night. I asked "what's the difference if I have the test tomorrow night from tonight? Let's just get the annual done now while I'm here." I was still turned away. The hour I argued with her, I could have gotten my mammo. No patient should ever be denied medical attention. This is one of the reasons people don't go in for checkups. So disappointed!

Everyone was kind. I need an MRI and yes there was a delay but I totally understand because MRI's are not fun and some patients need more time than others. The new little receptionist area was efficient! Leonard was a joy as always....

Someone already posted this complaint, so there is some validity to this. I have three outstanding bills from 2010 and 2011... no calls, no emails, no letters in the mail, nothing. I only find out when I get a letter in the mail that I am being taken to court. NOW when I try to call them and get things resolved they claim they get give me any info, when I just want to ask why they didnt bother to call or write OR EVEN BETTER MENTION IT THE HANDFUL OF TIMES I VISITED AFTER!
Its been months and I trying to get answers out of their billing department on the phone to get insurance information but no one ever calls you back.
CALL ME BACK PLEASE!

Went here for my routine mammo; the young lady who did the mammo was TERRIBLE!!!!!! For the first time in my adult life (and I go faithfully every year) the pain was excruciating and I do mean that. I actually screamed in pain and the tech was like, oh it's almost over!! I made her stop immediately. I told the people outside and no one could care!!! Will not go back there EVER!! I you like pain then this is the place other wise STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Avoid this place by all means.

I have never seen a medical organization operate with the lack of efficiency that New Century Imaging has exhibited, and that is not an exaggeration.

This facility does not honor your appointment time and they dont show any sort of remorse for making people wait an hour or more after their scheduled visit time. I had the displeasure of having to go to this facility 2 times in the period of a week, the first time for an xray, which I waited for 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The second to go back for an MRI, which was another 45 minute delay. All the while, I hear the staff having a ball behind the counter, not giving a rip about the patients who are awaiting their scheduled procedure, often times in pain. The receptionist then has the gall to tell me that there are are sometimes unexpected delays.

Well, that may be the case, but if that is a possibility then plan adequately for possible issues like this instead of booking people so close together. Why should I have a problem because you don't show enough foresight or decency to respect a scheduled appointment?

Simply put, this is the most unorganized imaging facility I have been to. Why do they even bother scheduling appointments if they have no intention on honoring the time I set aside. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that people who need medical imagining have to wait this long and deal with this level of incompetence. If your doctor asks you to go here, demand a different facility, you will just leave aggravated
