Great pizza and great prices. You know it's good pizza if it tastes good even cold. Great service and the pies are made fresh on the spot. Will go back to try their other dishes.

Good pizza, nice big slices. They use quality ingredients and the prices are very reasonable.

Best NY pizza in town. Nothing comes close to this family owned and operated pizza joint. Ever since I moved in 14 years ago this was my spot for pizza and sometimes meatball hero sometimes pasta if Cara Mia was too busy. The pizza here first class worth stopping in and picking up a slice.

In this area there are quite a few pizza parlors but only a few of note, this is one of them. Many years ago a pizza parlor called hiclass was the best you could get but thats old history the place is still there on jericho turnpike in Bellrose but ownership changes have brought the quality down. Now for pizza there's Gaby's in the shopping center on hillside and Francis Lewis which I ate in over 30 years ago and still maintains a good quality product, many people have a nostalgia for Gaby's which gives them lots of word of mouth business; this has caused them to get overpriced. To my mind up until several months ago Nerons pizza was better than Gaby's if you had them make it well done (they tend to undercook their pies) and their square sicilian was the best in Queens of the standard sicilian pies; on top of that they were half the price of Gaby's. The problem now is they changed the sauce and raised the prices, if nothing had changed and they raised the price I'd still be singing their praises but the sauce killed them for me.
Oh my opinion on best of the best in New York here goes:
For thin crust style nobody beats Tuttonos of Coney Island, for regular pizza I like pizza park on 86th Street in Brooklyn with honorable mention to Bassett s on Avenue X in Brooklyn (they also make kick ass sandwiches). If you like square sicilian pizza with cheese under the sauce then there is only 2 choices, L&B Spumoni Gardens the inventor on 86th Street in Brooklyn or Rosa's in Queens. For regular square sicilian I am presently at a lack to name the best in NY but Valentino's on Kissena Blvd in Queens is quite good.
I'm sure there are excellent pizzas to be found in Manhattan but the rapid state of flux there leaves them out of my recommendation s.
