Cheapest place to stay in NYC for a private bedroom, shared bath. Friendly helpful staff, FREE off-street parking! Great access to J-train. I never felt unsafe in the hotel or walking to the hotel. It doesn't have the comforts of your average American chain hotel, but if that is what you're looking for it will cost a lot more.

I call to see if they had any rooms available for a week stay. They had the room available. Since we were staying in nyc for a week the hotel rate was very reasonable. The rooms was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Which made our stay even better. I will recommend this hotel

Cheapest room you can get in New York City. Jersey is probably a better bet though in terms of price and luxury.
Ultimately you get what you pay for.
The "hotel" more like Hostel is directly under a subway line that runs all night. i found it to be charming and I sleep like a log so it wasnt too bad.
Prime location for music nightlife in Brooklyn, area is pretty ghetto, SHARED BATHROOM.
pros: Free wifi, cool area, ghetto but everywhere is safe now a days in my opinion.
I wouldnt bring my mom back here next time but I do enjoy walking to all the bars around here

Disgusting place. The pictures on their site were misleading.
Cramped room. Toilet was blocked up. The main office is upstairs which is an inconvenience for anyone with large and heavy luggage. Air con didn't work properly. No one works there in the night, my friend and I couldn't get back into the hotel until two people staying there opened the door for us. Only good thing about this place is the Wi-Fi.
Never going back to this hotel ever again.

worst experience ever! only stayed for a night but had the worst time, the main office is UPSTAIRS, there are no elevators, rooms were quite small and as my friend and I had an event that night, we got back quite late, the front door was locked and the buzzer did not work, we were not told what to do if we got back late, we would have been locked out if it weren't for the 2 guys sitting outside on the fire escape who opened the door for us, the only good thing was the air condition and the wifi, cheap or not, never again
