Neil's Automotive Inc

I have had nothing but positive experiences dealing with Neil's Automotive. I have been going to Neil for the past two years to service and repair my cars. Whether they are simple tasks like changing oil or changing tires, or more complex repairs he dealt with after an accident I was involved in, I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Neil was diligent with all aspects of the job on his end and mine always having things done in a timely and efficient manner. Neil and all his employees were nothing short of helpful, kind, and accomodating with any and all of the services they have performed on my cars. Neil is a pleasure to deal with, and I would happily recommend him for any car repair related needs.

I took my car to Neil's because of a fender bender. My Toyota Corolla was rear ended from a stupid driver that was texting. I saw online that Neil's garage does body work so I figured why not. I drop the car off and two days later I get a call from Mike saying that my car was ready to get picked up. I went down there and I saw my car sitting there. I made my way around the car to see how it looked, and I was shocked. It looked brand new. There was no way you can tell that my car was in an accident. I just wanted to say thank you to the crew at Neil's Automotive Inc. I will definitely be a returning customer and I recommend everybody who needs body work done to go there.

I brought my daughters car to Neil for brakes because she is leaving for college this weekend and she said her brakes were making a loud noise. He called me at work in the late morning and said they checked the front and back brakes and they were fine and that the noise was from a bad adjuster on the emergancy brake. When I went to pick up the car Neil told me he went over everything on the car to make sure it would be safe for my daughter since she would be away at school. He told me to give him $25 to cover his time and to bring it back when there was something actually wrong. I have been bringing my cars to Neil for many years now, and it is a shame that these small "neighborhood" shops are being forced out of business by the large chain stores. I have recomended Neil to numerous friends overthe years and they are now all loyal customers.

My car broke down this morning on my way into NY City. Luckily I was a few blocks from a small repair shop off the route 80 exit. They towed my car in and found that it had a clogged gas filter. They had one delivered and got me back on the road in a little over one hour! I am a single mom and am used to getting all kinds of stories and huge bills whenever I bring my car in for service. These guys were were honest and sent me on my way with a very reasonable bill, and I kept my appointments in NY as well!

I literally got a flat tire half a block from this business. the young man working in the garage told me if I could get my vehicle to the business, he would either fix my tire or put my spare on.. I managed to get my vehicle there, flat tire and all, I walk into the garage letting the kid know I was back, and let out a nervous laugh and this rude short chubby guy comes over to me and said, I DON'T KNOW WHY YOUR LAUGHING, I explain to him it was a nervous laugh, and I felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown.. NEIL, then tells me, GO AHEAD AND HAVE A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, I CAN'T HELP YOU.. MY MECHANIC IS WORKING ON A CAR AND I HAVE PAPER WORK TO GET DONE FOR TOMORROW MORNING.. it was 5:10 and they close at 6pm. as I start to tear up, I said are you serious, I guess I should try and call a tow truck, his lovely response was, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO, I CAN'T HELP YOU, as I stood there crying.. he just walks away.. THIS IS A TIRE / MECHANIC SHOP... it's not like I pulled up to a restaurant and asked them to help me.. mind you, his employee said no problem and 3 minutes later, this rude lil man (napoleon complex) was just the rudest man I have ever had to deal with.. after posting my experience on the internet, I have heard from so many people that they have had the same experience with the little man.. it's a shame.. since I do have 4 vehicles in our home alone, and now all friends and family will know and never use this guy.. I ended up buying new tires from another person, with better manners and people skills.. he should just stay in the back room and let the young man talk to the customers.
