I purchased insurance through Metromile since I don't drive my car too much and National General was the insurance provider.
After causing some damage to my car, I was very wary of the service I would receive after going through the reviews online. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The claims adjuster arrived the day after I filed the claim and the insurance check was mailed out the next day. Overall, I received my claim check within a week of filing the claim and the amount provided was sufficient to meet the estimated provided by most repair shops I took my car to.
The only issue I had was getting in touch with customer service. It took me around 45 minutes to get in touch with a representative. But, everything after that was handled excellently.

When people say it's the worst they mean THE ABSOLUTE WORST. INSURANCE COMPANY EVER!! Rude. Inconsiderate and incompetent people here. (They mispelled my lien holder for my car on the check and I have to wait until they decide to send another check in until I fix my car!) Such an inconvenience.

took me 5 hours to get someone on the phone,,, and then very unfriendly and unhelping people in the world,
do not use this company for any price!!!!

All i know is my husband could not get any other insurance bc of his driving record. But consistent with other reviews rates go up high after the first accident we had it is expensive but noone else would insure him

I had a huge loss on my property on Feb 15th. A claim was filled immediately. The company could not locate adjusters, kept telling me to do nothing to the property. As a first time home owner I listed, but asked others for advice. Thank goodness I did. Everything they told me was about to put me into some serious trouble. I found a disaster recovery team on my own and begged this ins company to approve it. Finally they did. Now it has been one month and two weeks and I still have zero info. I have bills that are going un-paid because they are telling me not to touch anything. Electric bills over $700 and water bills for over 39,000 gallons of water. Emergency plumbing bills that have not yet been paid, which will likely be reported to MY credit negatively. Now no one will answer. Im at a loss...literally and figuratively. My home is not livable, and they know this. Worst company ever.
