Unbelievable. The idiot who issued me the ticket almost ran me over while I tried to explain that I wasn't even parked. Stepped out of my car to look for the valet (car still running) and he basically drove by and issued a bullshit ticket. I've never been so angry in my life. Horrible.

I received a notice in the mail from a collection agency stating that I owed Nassau county money for cell phone violation in 2004! I've never received a cell phone violation in my life it's 2015 and they want me to pay $193 or they're suspending my license but yet nobody answers the phone they make no sense I renewed my license twice since 2004 if I had a violation that held points then why did you let me renew my license it makes no sense it's disgusting and I'm not paying it !

Okay as a heads up for anyone going to this garbage establishment, make sure to wear PANTS, not shorts, shoes and shirt. For some reason these people make it there mission not to mention this informatin in any paper work sent to your house, just so thay get the satisfaction of kicking you out pointing to the size 12 font note slapped onto the door telling you what to wear. I would advise you to check the website for more information since that isnt mentioned till you arrive.

I got a school speed ticket. Going 44 in a 25 mph. Never saw any sign saying photo enforced. All I saw was flashing. I signed the back saying not guilty right away and wanted a hearing. Got nothing back, but a letter saying i was a failure to show for the hearing. I wrote a letter stating I never got a hearing date at all!. They sent out a letter saying that I owe now a late fee. So it went from $80 dollars to $105. What a bunch of crooks! Scamming drivers for revenue. Shame on them. I will be so glad to move out of Long Island.

Beware: they cannot balance their budget so they will threaten to suspend your license if you don't pay decades old traffic infractions - and in my case, one that never happened. I received a letter citing an unpaid infraction from 15 years prior. I called and they were unable to provide me with a copy of the infraction. The ticket never affected my insurance, nor did it ever appear on my driving abstract. Hence, the ticket never even existed. They threatened to suspend my driver's license in 30 days from receipt of the letter if I didn't pay. Note: they never contact me once in all those years. So, I can hire a bottom-feeding Long Island attorney to appear on my behalf, or drive 8+ hours round trip to deal with the matter (as they'll only deal with you if you show up to court). Hence, it was less expensive to allow them to extort the money. I paid them. Look, I'm not the "woe is me"-type, nor do I think "the system is corrupt." But this is downright wrong and disgusting. That's some hustle they got going on over there.
