Love this place. Cozy and delicious. One of my friends claims a decline in quality, but I haven't noticed.

Lived here for six years. Was my go to spot for food as a young adult. Used to have the frequent customer reward card. I'm Vietnamese myself and can't pay for banh mi more than $5. So sad. Haven't come back in months for that reason. Just not right man.

It was really good, when I first started going there. But as the place got more popular and the food was worse and more expensive, not to mention the significantly smaller portions. Quite a few places in Queens offer reasonable and good Vietnamese food. The sandwich is okay at most, but it's honestly not worth it.

great veggie sandwich - spicy with mayo and Vietnamese coffee. The place is small, food and service were excellent

Probably one of the more expensive banh mi's I've ever had. I partially blame this on Brooklyn being Brooklyn, but rarely paying more than $3.75 for a banh mi in the Buford Highway area of Atlanta my entire life, $6-7 for a banh mi feels a little steep.
In regards to the banh mi itself, I had a spicy pork and my overall review would be "it's pretty okay." Not the best I've had, but not bad. They're pretty heavy on the carrots and are pretty skimpy on the cilantro and cucumbers, with no peppers or pickled daikon to be seen at all.
Again, overall, it's a bit pricey for banh mi standards and while it's not a place that comes to mind when I think "excellent banh mis," at the end of the day, Nam Nam still makes a decent sandwich.
