This is a very new and clean Nail Salon. I made an appointment on a Tuesday morning for later in the day at 1:00 pm. No-one wrote my name down and I wondered if it was really confirmed. I arrived and they were not busy so they took me quickly. So the appointment was not a needed. I brought with me my own Essie nail polish and "Out the Door" Quick drying top coat and settled into a comfortable spa chair and placed my feet into nicely warm/hot water. How relaxing. The nail technician was nice but I noticed seemed a little annoyed. But perhaps it was just me. Until I noticed, all she did was soak my feet in water and then start to put the nail polish on my toes. No, buffing the nail bed, no cleaning the nails, no lotion. Nothing! When I politely asked her to do a complete pedicure she seemed annoyed but did. The pedicure came out very poorly. She then started my manicure and seemed to redeem herself a little but only after a little direction from me as that there should be two coats of polish not one and I needed a top coat as well. For $30 I deserved better, and only wish I had left after the pedicure but I was too nice and this was my first time here. For $20 in my regular salon in NJ I get a very through mani-pedi and for $10 a nice eyebrow shape and wax. I will not be back to Nail Spa & Beyond and I think I now know why it was not so busy.. they are not so good.
