Mystery Room NYC

VERY small room but pretty fun experience! We finished with 20 minutes to spare so it was a fairly easy escape the room, but it is fun and nice to do with a group of friends for $28.

Mystery Room, one of several groups of “escape the room” type places has locations in midtown and downtown by Chinatown like some of the others. The idea is that you and a group of friends, family, coworkers, or even strangers get locked in a room set up with a variety of clues and a backstory that will help you unlock more clues and eventually find the key to escape the room. If you get really stuck, the staff can give you several clues during the course of the hour. The downtown one was a lot of fun and perfect for a group of 6-10 with lots of varied clues and perfect difficulty to just escape with a few minutes left. It’s an excellent team building activity that requires teamwork and thinking creatively to succeed.
