Dined here numerous times mostly during happy hour. The atmosphere is nice, decor is nice, but service is not nice. The female bartender is quite incompetent, and service is pretty terrible. The happy hour prices are great, but overall the food is not up to par with other sushi places around Long Island(I have been to many, if not 90 percent of the sushi places Nassau has to offer). Specifically the entrees are definitely subpar, the sushi is good, the appetizers are good as well. Every entree I have had, and I have had 3, one of them being chicken teriyaki which I don't think is that hard to mess up, they somehow did(chicken was very dry), and their ribeye teriyaki the cut of the ribeye was ALL fat no exaggeration.
Anyways I give this 2 stars because yes it has on par sushi, and delicious appetizers but the service and entrees are terrible. The staff should learn to be a little bit more open, friendly, and learn to smile, because after all the customer is there to have a good time and enjoy their food.
