Mr. Tod's Pie Factory

Hands down, the best baking. Quality service meets quality taste. Thank you so much for such a great tasting product. My family enjoyed very much. Keep up the great work!

Worst mismanaged biz in the world; evicted from Somerset location for nonpayment of rent--tells you something--pending Bloomfield location never opened yet phone rings daily & finally disconnected--visited Englewood location & when I saw what the bum looked like, I left the store, absolutely disheveled like he was high on drugs--store was dirty/restroom filthy--wouldn't sit on that disgusting toilet.

Last year after watching an episode of shark tank and seeing Mr. Tod was located in NJ, my wife and I decided to visit his Englewood location since his Somerset location had been closed after he was evicted for non payment.

Despite reading the horrible reviews on-line raging from not filling on-line orders to outright not keeping up with his orders at the actual store we still decided to visit the Englewood store and truly enjoyed the coconut custard pie. In all honesty- they were delicious!!

Unfortunately within the last three weeks I had driven to the store and found it closed. He isn't or rather, hasn't been opening according to his sign on time. The place appeared to be nearly empty and as if the business shut down.

I actually tried a last time and found him in the store around 10 hoping to grab a coconut custard pie but none were baked. Mr. Tod tells me to return later in the afternoon. His demeanor appeared upset and even the last three times I was there he was standoffish.

It's a shame that his pies are great but his people skills are lacking. Plus, he doesn't open on time and the business has no customers every time I've stopped in for a pie.

I wouldn't doubt it if he's not managing the business right or if he's going out of business.

I will not be returning to this store ever again.
