I live in the neighborhood and have my own washer and drier. However, I felt that it would be easier on the quilts, bedspreads and comforters if I washed them in a large tumbling washer rather that a machine with a center agitator. After putting 18 quarters each in two machines and 22 quarters in one machine and starting the washes, the attendant, who hardly spoke any English, told me that the place had no hot water. Was that just temporary situation or the way the place operates?
