Perfect people! These guys were the only ones who could hold my bag for me for some hours while I was sightseeing a bit in New York waiting for my friend. I wish I had a lot of laundry for them.

Seemed good until they tore my suit, mended it, failed to clean it, and tried to claim that's how it arrived. Had they simply been honest they'd still have my business.

Take it easy, man. I'm sure if you asked when the shirts would be ready when you dropped them off, they would have told you Friday at 5pm. Being "only 6 shirts" would not make a dry cleaning order move more quickly than any others and this wait is pretty standard/ minimal - if you want any faster you just need to pay more (probably at another place). Sounds like you are just upset because your life has ended up at a point where REALLY need a certain shirt for something within 2 days and if you don't get it, you're going to wish cancer upon the person responsible and do so in a public forum (which this clerk has likely now seen). Just take it easy - wear a different shirt, and ask/ call ahead of time. Maybe find a new job.
