While the décor is rather nice, the service I received was less than ideal. I went in for a blowout at approximately 6:30PM on a Thursday evening. I'm unsure if everyone was simply in a rush to go home, and as a result hurried through the process-- but either way, the result was a frizzy mess of hair.
The stylist used absolutely no tension while blowing out my hair, and instead simply used the hair dryer as a means to dry off the hair; he then proceeded to use a curling iron, which only compounded the frizz issue. The end result was a hair full of flyaways and frizz, which the stylist creatively (and conveniently) called, 'poof'.
Frankly, I could have done a much better job at home. In fact, I *did* have to go home and do a better job, as I was forced to take my flat iron to it in order to rectify the problem. The only reason I came here was due to scheduling restraints and the fact that a blowout usually results in a tamed, worry-free head of hair.
For $25~$30, you're better served by heading down the street to David Ezra or The Loft.
