I had experience with Movado that left me disappointed where it did not seem they were standing behind their product. After speaking with a supervisor, they decided to repair my watch at no charge. My faith in Movado has been restored.

The Movado repair procedure is needlessly complex. The watches are sent to a secure facility in Moonachie NJ but they must be dropped off in an almost unmarked office on the 3rd floor of an office building in Paramus.
I'm sure they have their reasons but once you do find the drop off desk you get to contend with a receptionist who has as much customer service personality as a damp rag.
The complexity continues as you hand over your watch for repair. In monotone she will rattle off the usual disclaimers as she fills out slips of paper, jots things in a notebook, types info into a computer, takes your credit card and drivers license - a messy procedure of doubled and tripled work for no discernible purpose.
Once you return for pickup - you hand your license and credit card back to her to redo a bit more work because for some reason the multitude of backup work she's already done still needs more.
She also seems to be deeply uninterested in actually handling customers like those in front of me in line. Questions were responded to with noncommittal lines like "that's just our policy sir" and "your credit card isn't enough to identify you ma'am we do not return a watch without a drivers license".
Thankfully for me I was able to have all my information in order by the time it was my turn so I could get through it as quick as possible. It seems their entire process could use an overhaul and a new face at that desk.
