In sum:
Pros:
- Very nice apartment. Nice layout.
- Units have fireplaces (also a bit scary given the wood building and the previous fire they had.)
- Has a little gym and pool
- Inside parking which is nice in the winter
Cons:
- Complete lack of sound proofing (worse than a normal apartment to the point where you can hear even small noises)
- Lack of sound proofing combined with a completely unprofessional and inept building manager who has no clue how to resolve noise complaints.
- Bad smell from a sewage plant to the Southeast (Google it to see a picture on the map if they deny it). This is not normally a big deal since the wind is usually out of the Northwest.
- Lack of guest parking. Your guests will be towed if they park on the road.
- Kind of a isolated feeling for the location as its right of the highway with no place within walking distance, but the trade-off is a quieter location vs. living in the city or in a town.
Overall though, its an okay place if you can put up with some negatives.
