Excellent selection, excellent service and my go-to store to get high end spirits in the Bronx

Everyone in the store was very helpful. I was looking for a bottle of grappa but, I was unsure of the differences. They all had suggestions and the owner even went into his private collection to let us try one of them, which was the one we ended up buying. And it wasn't the most expensive one either, so they weren't just pushing a product for profit. Because I'm not from the city they offered to ship some if we ever wanted more and didn't want to go into the city for it. We all exchanged names and it was a very friendly and inviting setting. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for any price range wine or liquor, and I will be visiting there again!

Once I needed Pineau (a fortified sweet white wine) for a recipe. They had 2 brands in stock! I was so surprised because this a neighborhood wine store. Another time I was looking for Vouvray. Again it was in stock.

Ray, the owner, is quite knowledgable. But, some of the employees don't know anything about wine. So, stick with Ray.

I purchased 3 bottles of Wine (2004), when I received my order the wines they shipped were 2006. When I called to speak to someone regarding my purchase a very Rude manager (Raymond) refused to help and said that was all we had. I had to dispute the transaction with my CC company to get a refund

I ordered a $350 bottle of cognac (Hennessy Paradis) for my dad's birthday & paid extra for a 3-day delivery. I placed the order on Saturday and received a tracking number on Monday. On Thursday (the day of my dad birthday), I called to make sure that everything was fine because I couldn't find my shipment on the UPS website with the tracking number I was given. The salesman told me that there had been a mixup and my order was still in the store for some reason. Apparently, the person who handled Internet orders was coming in later, so I had to call twice in order to actually speak to someone about my problem. Finally, I was able to reach the woman (Audi or something like that) and I asked her to overnight the package given the circumstances. She said she spoke to her manager (who was on vacation in another country, supposedly) and the only thing they could do for me was a 2-day shipment. And of course, she said, they would not charge me extra for the 2-day shipment versus 3-day that I paid for - a completely ridiculous statement given the fact that they screwed up, provided a false tracking number, and ruined my special occasion. She would also not give an explanation as to why they would not ship it overnight - one would think that an extra $10 of shipping charges on a $350 order is not too much to ask for, since the entire situation was their fault. I was forced to cancel my order and search for this rare cognac elsewhere. I am very upset about my experience with that store.
