Motiwala Neeta MD

I went to Dr. Motiwala's office with an open mind. However, after seeing her for a few visits, I decided to switch physicians immediately. Dr. Motiwala has poor bedside manner. While I was giving her my personal history, she kept forgetting what I was telling her and didn't seem at all engaged. This did not make me feel very confident in her care. She also ordered a slew of tests that I did not need. For example, I was in my late twenties and she ordered an EKG. I have no family history of heart disease and did not complain of cardiac symptoms like palpitations or dizziness. She also will call you into her office for a "follow up" visit of the lab results...even though the lab results are normal and can be delivered over the phone! I then had to pay another doctor fee for absolutely no reason. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted at the service I received and didn't feel like she had my health at heart. She was more interested in making money from my insurance. There are other great doctors at Bergen Gastro and I encourage anyone who is even thinking about making an appointment there to see someone else. It's worth the wait to get the better care.
