If you ever have your vehicle towed to their yard pick it up immediately. They run a price gouging scam charged our company $1000 for 14 days storage. We pay $200 monthly to store at other lots. I wouldn't expect to ever get a fair price from them on any service based on that markup!

They towed my vehicle off of the NJ Turnpike. The driver was very nice and professional. They towed me back to their repair shop and two days later my vehicle was repaired. From past experiences their towing and repair prices were very reasonable.

Breaking down on the Turnpike is scary enough but managing repairs is even worst. Beware of Moran Towing. We called the Turnpike Authority after pulling to the shoulder when the car began loosing speed, reving high and I smelled smoke. Once safely on the side we looked under the hood and saw brown liquid spurting out and leaking on the ground and smoking. We decided to have it towed not to risk causing more damage. A truck from Moran showed up in no time. The driver was friendly and eager to get the car on the flatbed and over to the repair shop, No problem. Except it was Saturday evening and the Garage was closed until Monday. They assured that someone would look at it Monday morning and let me know what the issue was. If you are getting the work done by Moran there would be no daily storage fee otherwise it would be $25 per day. We left the car there and a friend picked us up.

MONDAY: Bright and early I called to confirm that a mechanic would look at the car. I was assured that someone would get back to me when they looked at it. After calling over 3 times throughout the day. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK! The y seemed to be getting testy that I kept calling to find out about MY CAR. The last call went to voice mail informing the they were closed for the day. So I had no idea if anyone even looked at the car.

TUESDAY: Again bright and early I called to get status and the disconnect recoring came on. I checked the number and dialed again. Samething. I called from another phone just to make sure I wasn't losing it. Disconnect recoring again. Didn't want to panic so I waited an hour and called back at 9:30 AM. Finally got a live body. Asked about the car and was told no one had looked at it yet. I asked when can I expect to get a status. Was told someone would call me back. I began to fuss since no one called me back yesterday. They said the mechanic just got in and there were several cars ahead of me. I informed them that I am from out of town and I need to get back home and back to work. I insisted that I need him to look at the car today. Within an hour I recieved a call back stating my Transmission was shot and it would cost $3500 to replace it. No explanation on how they reached that conclusion. No diagnostic report. Just pay us $3500 to fix the car. I got the impression that the mechanic didn't even take a good look at the car nor did he make any significant effort to find out what the problem was. He also informed me that he doesn't usually work on my make and model. But would take a look and let me know. At that point I knew I would not be letting him make any repairs.

I decided to have the car towed to a different mechanic I could trust for a second opinion. The shoty diagnosis cost $300. I was charged for towing, (fine) storage from Sat. thru Tuesday (eventhough I waited an extra day on them to look at the car) and a diagnostic fee for the mechanic to tell me I need a new transmission. Which I thought it was very strange that he could make that assessment without replacing any of the fluids, hooking the car up to a machine or providing any incline of performing any of the routine assessments I've experienced Mechanics perform at other repair shops. BEWARE. I would not recommend this place for anything but a TOW. Customer service is poor, Communication and Professionalism non-existent.

Terrible customer service. My buddy Nick had a collision on the Turnpike. I went to pick him up from Moran. No specific rules/policy was given to us, so we aptly moved some of Nick's valuables in his car over to mine (GPS, EZ pass...)

As we are about to drive back to the front office to pay for services, the owner of Moran Towing came speeding out in a Moran truck, cuts us off, and almost causes another collision. He does another loop, drives / speeds around, and cuts us off again. I have to use my brakes so I don't hit him and his truck.

The owner Screams at us (for moving Nick's things from Nick's car), and he just can't stop screaming.

"STOP THE CAR"

"PARK THE CAR"

"REVERSE THE CAR"

I ask the owner of Moran to politely calm down and explain to us how we can help him and obtain information on what he really needs from us.

His only reply was, in his loudest: "I AM CALM!"

We were just driving under 5 mph to the front office to pay for the services. It was actually snowing a bit at the time, so it made more sense to drive to the front office - compared with walking to the office then walking back to my car.

We are reasonable people. Born and raised in Jersey. Went to schools in NY and PA. Nick is actually applying to business schools this season, and we hope to hear back soon.

While another employee was present, the owner of Moran was very much Screaming.... when the use of some words and conversation would have been much more helpful. And all this, after Nick, the patron, is just out of a car collision.

Terrible customer relations. No communication or interpersonal skills. Unprofessional. Almost caused another collision. I do not recommend Moran Towing.
