I don't normally take the time to write online reviews however I felt compelled to write about our experience with Moore's funeral home.
My father passed away the day after Christmas, 2012.
From the onset, director Pat Moore was kind, patient and extremely helpful. She was extremely patient with myself and also with my grandmother who is hard of hearing.
She helped us select beautiful flowers, a nice casket and the entire wake flowed smoothly. She also helped us with the cemetery arrangements, which otherwise could have been a bit confusing.
When the cemetery messed up on our plot pricing, she immediately stepped in and remedied the situation.
I have to say, and not to sound too morbid here, but everyone agreed that my father - laid out - looked amazing. They really did an excellent job in this area as well.
I wish I was better at communicating how easy and effortless our experience was given it being a trying time for us. Pat, her husband Robert and other family employees (who's names I can't remember sorry!) were just very helpful and patient and guided us through the entire process with no problems whatsoever.
The arrangements were wonderful, my father looked great and the home is warm and welcoming. Overall - I have not one complaint about the entire experience with Moore's.
Also, given what we received for the price, I'd say it was more than fair. I have been to less elegant funeral which cost more money.
Pat, Robert and staff - Thank you so much for making our experience pleasant in such difficult times.
Sincerely,
Jay S & Carmen and Vincent Lavorgna
