Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital

I was hit by a car as I was crossing the street. I was brought into a dark room and left unattended for about 10 minutes. Finally someone came in and turned on some lights and attended to me. You will see only residents here. I did not see a full fledged Doctor until my 3rd night there, and that was for all of 10 minutes. It was a full five hours before I was given a room and another two before I was given the proper pain meds. One nurse "pushed" my pain med into my IV instead of injecting it into my arm as required and it caused me to become very sick. I was vomiting and sweating profusely for 45 minutes (all with a neck brace on).

If you have a choice, avoid this hospital. The nurses were wonderful but overwhelmed.

The staff is very rude my sister was waiting for almsot 45 mins to get her head wound check out. The doctor that was on duty was very rude and making smart comments to us as we asked what was the next step in taking care of her wound. If you need immediate help do not come.
