Modern Samurai is an awesome martial arts school. My son loves coming to the classes. Sensai Lou and his wife are very warm and welcoming. The teaching style comes with discipline and heartfelt love for all of their students. Lessons involve respect for all, 100% effort, and hardwork. When you walk through their doors, it feels like coming home to family. You can feel the love and dedication from Sensai that results in success. You not only excel in Karate, but you leave feeling well-rounded. I believe Modern Samurai offers just about everything your child needs to succeed everywhere. Come and see for yourself.

I spent about 5 years at Modern Samurai and it was an amazing experience, not only was it exciting and enjoyable but it was a great way to exercise and learn self defense. Sensei Lou along with the rest of the Modern Samurai family makes you feel apart of their community right from the beginning; building a friendship with other peers was fast and rewarding. I highly recommend attending Modern Samurai if you have an interest in martial arts and want to meet with new and friendly people.

I will keep this short and simple. Modern samurai is a great martial arts school for anyone who’s willing to learn. Sensei Lou is one of the kindest, down to earth person you will ever meet. His positive attitude on life is a reflection on everything he does, especially martial arts. Furthermore, as an instructor he is the best because he is knowledgeable on many types of martial arts and incorporates those skills in real life situations. Overall, if you really want to learn something, Modern Samurai is the place to go.
