Not to be trusted, they bring reupholstery work to our shop to do professionally because they are incapable of doing it properly, then put a lying review up on Yelp saying we stole the caster from the foot. Despicable characters, they are clawing, nasty people. Keep your life simple, run away from them.

MOD Restoration is a world class reupholsterer and restorer. Finding a trusted reupholsterer anywhere is difficult enough as it is. How often do you need one anyway? Once in a lifetime? That's what I thought until I found this business. When it comes to being green, and keeping old furniture, reupholstery projects can be both time consuming and expensive. You are tempted to simply go with the lowest price. But MOD made it too easy for me. I found three reupholsters in New York City. One was a trusted business on the east side. Another was a shop in the Bronx with zero reviews, and a poor attitude. And the third was MOD.

Mod Restoration was the most attentive to the details of my project. They evaluated my furniture at my home and gave me electronic quotes. They leverage mobile technology to ensure that they always replied promptly to my questions. I didn't have to worry about the lowest price, because MOD's quote was already the lowest of the three shops I researched! And to seal the deal, MOD is the recommended furniture restoration shop at Crate & Barrel's tri-state locations. I trust Crate & Barrel, and now I trust MOD.

They are fantastic. The workmanship is first rate. They let you source your fabric from just about anywhere (including Crate & Barrel, where I got mine). And they care about your furniture. Reupholstery is not cheap, but it is the way to go to make your furniture last longer, complement your decor, and reduce your consumption. I will most definitely choose MOD for my next reupholstery project!
