This place just re opened after being closed for months and months for renovations. I walked inside and it looks exactly the same after all that time.
I sat down to notice that the heat was not working at all. Had to keep my coat on.
I had the buffet which has all of the same food that is used to but less sushi roll options...which stinks.
After a few plates i had to call it quits because it was too cold. I get the bill to find that they have increased the cost of the "dinner" buffet from $8.50 to $12.50! The food is the same, the place is the same, and now charging 50% more for food...even though all the signs still say $8.50.
Sorry to rant but i am very disappointed in this local place i used to like very much.

It is unfortunate that this location actually has a decent decor because what they are passing off as sushi coupled with their poor service resulted in this low rating. First, Unagi Don is a form of sushi dish, hence the reason why it is found on all reputable Japanese menus under this category and by default (like all the quality Japanese restaurants I have dined at in over 5 different states and 4 different countries) it does NOT include imitation crab sticks, and it DOES come with complementary ginger and wasabi. Get it right and know that just because you are located in a low-income area it does NOT give you the right to reduce the quality of traditional Japanese foods, nor does it permit you to tell a customer to collect wasabi and ginger from the "all-you--can-eat" station where it has been sitting for God know how many hours that day and picked over by numerous customers. My first and last time I will patron this location or perhaps any other Moca, as this one serves as a representation for the others. Oh, and by the way: stop pushing off the Wonton broth as Miso soup...some of us can tell the difference!
