This is a small shop with tasty products, good service, and a nice "up north" decor with wood and fireplace settings. There are some soft seats (yea) but mostly wooden tables and chairs. The place is often a bit crowded as a result.
Its location at the busiest corner in the county brings many people in off the road including medical school and other students from two nearby colleges. I cannot attest to the quality of their wireless connectivity at this time but I do like the fact that I can get out of the house for awhile now and then to walk in and read or day dream for awhile as the shop is "up the block."
I like the trivia questions which discount ten cents off the first purchse which enables some conversation to be initiated between customer and staff --however-- this place like so many throughout Milwaukee is not conducive to social conversation which is unfortunately my experience typical of the way Milwaukee in general has become --most-- people around Milwaukee have become and are cliqueish, immature, and snobby with little to say to one another but for one or two syllable grunts such as foot_ball, touch_down, home_run, pack_ers, brew_ers and to this I am compelled to reply using language they surely understand: no thank_you mor_ons.
