We go to a lot of estate sales and come across antiques that may need some repair. I was referred to Michael by a jeweler near me. I have taken sterling silver, porcelain, and crystal to him for repair. The results are wonderful. He is knowledgable and passionate about his work. Museum quality. Give him a try, I don't think you will be sorry.

I am not sure if the review should be here or MKDR site, but to reiterate, Michael restored 2 paintings for us and we were very happy with the results; he is very knowledgeable and could pinpoint the style and period of almost any piece.
Highly recommended.

I had a very old ceramic vase (glazed) lying around in a box [all but shattered] around for some time. Recently I was pressured to look into restoring it as it is a family heirloom (I’d previously held back due to cost).
I worked with Michael from KD who gave us several options of varying costs. The final product is really astounding… it looks better (NOT newer, which is important) than I remember. It even feels like a solid piece, with not even one hairline crack visible. We were really impressed.
I’d definitely come back if I had any similar work to be done …
