Food court has some great options. I stick with the spicy miso ramen. Cash only. Nice river views of the city.

A unique spot for all things Japanese. Be sure to go in with an empty stomach. Pick up some groceries and then take a sear after ordering some spicy miso ramen. If you have room for dessert, I recommend trying some green tea soft serve.

Good supermarket for Japanese food. Only come here if you're willing to pray for a parking spot because you're probably going to spend a half hour or more waiting for one during busy times. The selections are good, but not the cheapest. The bathrooms were gross. I'd come back during odd hours if I ever needed anything.

As a supermarket / grocery store, Mituwa is rather pricey. However, there are some great Japanese finds like green-tea KitKat and other unique-to-Japan finds. It's fun to look around the store to find some interesting snacks and food.
Definitely try one of the mini-in-store restaurant kiosks. The soba and udon noodle soups are inexpensive and filling. Even better if you find a seat right near the window overlooking the Hudson River and Upper West Side of NYC.

They have the softest soft serve I've ever had, period. It's a small store in the food court section, but the green tea soft serve is the best soft serve I've had. The grocery section has great Japanese items and I love getting to buy things here.
