Doesn't look like much, and the service wasn't the snappiest. On the other hand, Johnny was knowledgeable, explained each step he was taking, and did a good job of getting me on my way. Only a couple bucks more than other places. I was happy.

Fist, not to sound too cliche, I never usually leave negative reviews. I always give the benefit of the doubt that I may of just had some bad luck and an anomaly of an experience. Well I have been to this place 3 times, only due to convenience (very close). The first 2 times was for my daughters beach cruiser bike (it needed a chain put on and I had broke my chain tool). So I took them there, and as all posts state, it took 3 days, to put on a chain, a bike chain, on a bike.... 3 days. This shop is the worst. I do my own work on my bikes but when stripping down my bike I realized I didn't have a pedal wrench to take my pedal bars off. I called, he was out on a test ride, so the lady said bring it down. I did exactly that, except I sent my wife instead. She had to wait 20 minutes while he walked around his gardening shop, then helped someone else, then finally (rudely I might add) yelled from in his shop if my wife had a question. She told him that I needed the peddle bars taken off (which is about a 2 minute process since I had everything taken apart). He said he couldn't do it right then, but leave it and we could have it after the weekend (this was a Wednesday mind you). He told her it would be $30.00. To use a wrench, $30? Really? She left it, then I called him and picked it up the next day, I told him I would fight with the flat crescent wrench first. He told me over the phone that he would do it for $20, which was so very nice of him. I called Roys in Brooklyn, they told me they would do it in about 2 minutes and charge me $5. This guy only sells and deals with beach cruisers, he is a tourist bike shop, catering to people in emergencies (see other posts) and pushes cruiser bikes. Go to another shop where the people actually ride bikes, know all types of bikes, and are professional. This guy is just rude.

This owner is the biggest a$$hole. Don't think about getting there if you have flat. You are better off taking the subway back to NYC. I had a flat and I asked if I can borrow levels to change my tire but he refused by saying "This is not a bike shop, you are in private property". This place should be removed as a "Bike Shop" from goggle map or any search engines!!

I always go to John if I have a bike question. He has always fixed the bike in a timely fashion. He is very knowledgeable about bikes. I always try to support and give my business to members of my community.

I had never been to this shop before today but while biking in the area my friend's tire got lacerated beyond repair and he needed to find a replacement. After finding this place, the guy working here was obnoxious to us before any questions were even asked. Then, after explaining the problem to him, he complained that he was too busy to do anything without scheduling an appointment.
If you have no where else to go then try your luck but I would recommend staying away from this place. Don't know how good his work is because he refused to do anything. The service was obviously poor.
