Mindful Midwifery in Hoboken

I'm a type 1 diabetic with hypertension. Pregnancy for me, was always associated with a dark cloud of complications and unknowns. Naturally, I entered my pregnancy with a lot of anxiety and fear. However, every appointment with Kristin was an absolute pleasure. I was never rushed, had all of my questions answered and I was always met with nothing but positivity and tons of encouragement. She really helped calm my fears by educating me and taking the time to explain things. At the birth Kristin used her wealth of knowledge by making positional changes and various other methods to allow me to labor peacefully and enjoy every minute of my laboring experience. To say that I was satisfied with my experience is an understatement. Not only did I give birth to a beautiful, healthy little girl, I came away with such a knowledge of my body's ability to create and nurture a life! This is how pregnancy and birthing should be!! Highly recommend getting under Kristin's care.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful Kristin is!!! From the very moment my husband and I stepped into her office, I knew our experience was going to be a special one. Kristin is so patient - she took time to answer every single one of my questions, even when (I'm sure) they became monotonous and ridiculous. She never once made me feel like I was bothering her or that I was asking a stupid question. Kristin made me feel so comfortable about my pregnancy from day one, even when difficult discussions came to pass. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to leave Mindful Midwifery because we moved out of state, but believe me when I say that leaving Kristin was a HUGE factor in our decision making process. I only wish our Rosie could be born with Kristin's help. If ever we're back in NJ with a little one on the way, we know exactly where we're going!

Kristin Mallon is an amazing midwife and will be by the side of moms-to-be every step of the way - through their delivery and, as someone who can take care of mom's needs long after baby is born. She is easily accessible, always willing to answer questions, down-to-earth, and, most importantly - extremely professional with a great bedside manner that will make all moms- and dads-to-be comfortable with her and the birthing process. With Kristin as your midwife, you will have the peace of mind that you absolutely need during your birthing process - knowing that you are in the best possible hands and that she will put the interests of you and your baby first above all else. You won't find a better midwife!!!
