Noah's great, great restaurant hews close to the tradition of great Jewish cooking while creating fresh from the farm, innovative new dishes. Fabulous!

Someone told me this was as good as Katz, it's good but not that good lol, but all and all I give this spot a solid 3-4 out of 5 because the food is good and it's no where as crowded as Katz is

Being from Montreal and having lived in the Mile-End for over 15 years, when I found out about this place I absolutely had to come and try it out!
I came here in February 2015, right during their poutine week, but only tried their smoked meat sandwich.
I thought that their meat was too thick and not fat and greasy enough to represent what Montreal has to offer.
Smoke meat is not a healthy meal and shouldn't become one.
I actually preferred the pastrami sandwich at Katz's deli on Houston.
If you ever come to Montreal, you ahould definitely try Schwartz, The Main deli, and especially Smoke Meat Pete's, and make your own mind up on who makes the best one.
All I can say is that the smoke meat here at Mile End is good but not representative of what we get in Montreal.
A lot of other things on their menu I wished I would have tried.
Very clean and pretty restaurant.

We liked the restaurant atmosphere, modern and with a nice, simple decoration. The waitress was very friendly and helped us choose the soup of the day and a couple of delicious sandwiches. Definitely a highly recommended place.

We were very excited to try Mile End. At 5:30 on a Wednesday there was only an older couple sitting for a meal, as we were stopping in for takeout at the end of a hard day on our way home to Long Island. We figured it wouldn't take to long. Boy were we wrong. Over 20 minutes for 2 braised brisket sandwiches. That would have been OK if we got good sandwiches but they were tuff and a mostly fat, luckily there wasn't much meat on the sandwiches anyway. That was a problem in itself, if your going to charge $14 for just the sandwich at least fill the sandwich. I could have gone to Katz at least there would have been plenty of meat. On a good note the pickles and fries were delicious. My friends and I are a pretty big group of foodies and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Very disappointed!
