Mila J Salon

This salon is amazing! When you walk in you are greeted with warmth and style and it is really set up well. The women are very nice but this review is about one specific stylist.
Here comes the mushy stuff...
Laura Okin is just about the best PERSON I have ever met. I have had so many hair tragedies over my lifetime and they ended when I started going to Laura about 6 years ago. She understood my stress and craziness about getting hair cuts and always does exactly what I ask of her. She really took the time to get to know who I am as a person.
I was a bad client this time as I went to a friend when I couldn't get into Laura and I received a horrible dye job. I told Laura and she reassured me we could fix it and she did exactly that. I don't know what I would do without her and I recommend her 1000% to anyone who is looking for a stylist. She will make you feel beautiful and comfortable 100% of the time!

I've been going to Jennifer Martinez for nearly 20 years. She is extremely knowledgeable, I call her a master scientist, and she makes on point recommendations. I'm always happy after I do what she suggests and always get compliments on my hair. Her staff is attentive and polite and her salon is very clean and professional. She's the best!

I write this review not only as an employee of Mila j but as a friend of Jennifer Martinez for over 15 years. I have worked in a few salons over the last 20+ years and can honestly say without any hesitation that Mila j is in a class of its own. Jen has succeeded in creating a place that looks and feels like home. The girls that she has hand picked to work with her complete the puzzle. I admire her passion and drive and I know that all of the girls here feel the same. If you want fabulous hair then come see any one of the amazingly creative girls at Mila j. I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful high end salon without the high end prices. The entire staff is warm, friendly and professional and go above and beyond to accomodate their clients. Jennifer Martinez and her staff are extremely talented and creative with a fine eye for detail. I am constantly stopped and asked where I get my high lights done and I am extremely happy to tell them Mila J. Salon in Totowa. From cuts and color to formal styles they do it all. DEFINITELY FIVE STARS!

Beautiful new salon hosted by the talented Jennifer Martinez and staff, upscale decor, friendly professional girls, doing what they do best. Priced well for Outstanding services offered. Highlights, Color and Chemical Straightening are favorites. The place to visit for a girls night out blowout, or your usual 6 week touch up. Bravo! Ladies..Bravo!
