Outstanding haircut for $22. Met is incredible.

Got the worst hair cut ever with one of the ladies here (named Zhanna I think). She did it in 3 minutes, didn't even put water on my hair tu cut it, she didn't cut equally. I highly do no recommend this place.

Feel good haircut of the year. All the barbers here are greatly skilled, good conversationalists, and easy to work with. I followed my go-to favorite barber, Sarra, to this place, and refer my friends here all the time.

I have been to Mike & Son several times over the last few years and have always left happy, that was until today. I was stuck with a lady named Zhanna who cut my hair. Long story short, I went in a 32 year old and left looking 52. As I was leaving, someone apologized for the confusion. What confusion??? Who goes in to the barbor shop and says "make me look like I am balding up front?" As I have done for the last 15 years, I asked her to texture the top with texture sheers and she took a great big chunk of hair out of the front/center of my former thick head of hair. I look like I either just started chemo treatment or I am beginning to bald. EITHER WAY WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! Do not let Zhanna touch your head!!! She has no clue what she is doing.

Followed Sarra from Astor Place Hair when she moved about a month ago. Sarra is awesome and does great work on medium length men's haircuts and women's "pixie" cuts. It took me a while to find a barber in NY I liked and the new-to-me space is awesome. Comfy chairs, very polite receptionist and barbers. Cheap too. I highly recommend both Mike and Son's and Sarra, in particular.
