Midwood Suites

The room was not at all what I expected, but it was in an interesting part of town and the people were friendly. It was right off of the Q so you could go anywhere in NYC. The rooms were bigger than most rooms I have had in New York and it felt really homey.

If I could get the same deal at Priceline I would take it any day. I would stay here again when I go to Brooklyn.

Please do not stay here. Not worth the price.

The bed was in a horrible condition. It was the worst bed I had slept in. The staff on the phone was not friendly. Keep in mind there is no concierge for most of the time and no cleaning of the rooms on Saturday.

The worst part was that there is no heating. The owner should not have been able to rent this out. It is inhumane!

We stayed with my wife for 3 days in Midwood Suites in September 2010. No voucher for breakfast on Saturday (local bagel bakery closed). Our room 202 would need some maintenance first before renting. Although it was a kitchenette room and rate, oven was not working, no coffee maker and no silverware or plates. Microwave was available and it was working.
Room was smelly and I got bitten by bed bugs - more than 20 bites (NY has a big problem with those).
Communication to downtown is convenient with subway station just a half block away.
