Middletown Township Public Library

Great library, my favorite. I'd have given it the 5 stars it deserves except that it's noisy and the librarians don't enforce the quiet environment one expects, and that libraries are known, to have.

Garbage service, everyone has an attitude and the fines are obsurdly high compared to anywhere else due to a "new policy" I wish it got shut down

I love this library it is a great place to study and do my homework. The clerks at the desks are so nice to me. They have such a great selection of books,CD's and some movies/shows to look through. I love this library! Its the best! :)

I came here looking for a quiet place to study. The main problem is that in their "quiet" area they have a reference help desk where there are workers answering questions and telephones. They also have an electric pencil sharpener which cuts through the air like nails on a chalk board in the "quiet" area. Along with the clear disregard for "quiet" their are people who remain ignorant of the meaning quiet in a library. I know this isnt something that the library can control but there will be people talking loudly and not one librarian tells them to hush, they themselves are even guilty of speaking loudly. Along with this from my experience the day i went they decided to take all the books off a few shelves and clean the shelves while slamming clanking etc. They started the vacuum an hour before closing and i just found it rude that they couldn't wait till closing. Where are the quiet libraries these days because workers and people going to them just don't care anymore.
