Buyer beware. Overpriced, and Faulty Auto Parts!!!

I rarely ever write reviews. I had an engine misfire. On the road, I was lucky, I was by this place, or so I thought. I had them replace the engine coil that misfired and another one that was also old. Turns out the parts were faulty. Both engine coils replaced cause another engine misfire. The parts they had installed pretty much broke into pieces. My local mechanic replaced both parts way cheaper than this place. If I could give this place a zero, I would.

Went this place for figuring out what is draining my car battery. The deal was this;$100 for inspection and then if I do repair they will take off 50% of that. I have some amount of knowledge of car systems and so did some amount of testing from my side. I knew the battery is not faulty, and there is no external channels creating the drain(alternator,spark plugs etc). I was sure the electrical is the one causing trouble because when I take out the fuse there was no drain and it kept in the charge for even 45 days which otherwise drain it in 3 days. Only thing which was pending was things like CD player, remote unlock key, passenger airbag, and small electric like internal lights. So I said them clearly about the issue and asked them to check. I left the car there and next day they came out and told CD player was causing the issue and asked to fix it (which they will charge me 150). since I know how to do it myself, I told them not to do it. However it was unplugged when I picked up the car. I know it was because they did it already and did not want to spent time on it to plug it back again - (no no... not because they are nice) So that is phase one. I wanted to make sure it was the thing draining the battery and so kept the car unused for 5 days and did check the battery levels. WHAT TO SAY IT IS STILL DRAINING!!!! I went back and explained what I did and then they asked me to leave the car to check. Next day they say the car is not drained.(I feel they played with it and charged the battery since charge was unusually high when I checked levels back at home) I had heavy argument with manager and he is not ready to check further and no reimbursement on my money. HE ALSO TELLS HE WILL CHARGE FOR CHECKING CAR AGAIN (WHICH IS STILL UNDER 1 MONTH AFTER SERVICE) !! If they are not ready to check it then why are they taking money for it? So I take it back home and use it for next two months. Now it is Jan 2016 , and it is freezing in my area and today my car is dead again. I might need to takeout the fuse to keep the battery up in winter... SO WHAT IS THE USE OF SPENDING $100 IF THEY CANNOT FIND WHAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE? I CALLED MIDAS CUSTOMER CARE TO GET SOME HELP BUT NO AVAIL!!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went to this place a few times. Initially, he sounded reasonable, then I got the impression that he was fleecing me. This was confirmed by one of his mechanics telling me not to go back for more repairs. On y last visit he made some racist comments about my country of origin too. This guy himself is a Chinese guy, his name is Peter Chen. He has a sense of entitlement that is entirely unwarranted. Avoid this place like the plague.

I took my car there for a check engine light-on, upon arrival the staff was friendly and professional. They advised it will take 20 to 30 minutes to diagnose the car, so I went to the mall.
25 minutes later they called me back gave me a diagnose and the cost of repair, I told them I will call back shortly to confirm and authorize the repairs. After calling a few other shops and doing re-search I decided to authorize the job the car need it since the price was very fair and competitive. It’s been several months and my car still runs with 0 problems. My experience was really great, since then I take my car there for regular maintenance and never encounter a problem like long wait or overpriced. I will definitely will always recommend this place to my friends. !

Very honest shop they checked my car and told me exactly what the dealer told me and charged me half the price and saved me money . The manager gave me a list of safety issues and what can wait . They even won nbc honest shop award last year. Alsome location I walked to the mall while my car was being worked on . When my car was done it was super clean unlike the last shop I went to . This shop put plastic mats down and even filled my wiper fluid up . Very professional business .
