Michelle New York has been amazing.
The selection is beautiful. Although not huge, they have only well-designed options across a range of styles, all priced well and not terrifyingly expensive. It was the best dress shopping experience I had.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and attentive. They make you feel at home, and are flexible with scheduling. They also feel very connected to the neighborhood and at home in Brooklyn.

I totally recommend it.

One woman works both at the boutique with casual clothes and the bridal boutique, down the block I bought my wedding dress here and am very happy with it. This store has a variety of Nicole Miller wedding gowns which are reasonably priced. However, the store is by appointment only y(for both shopping and fittings once you buy your dress). There is no buzzer, so you have to wait outside until the owner unlocks the door for you. This is not so fun in February. When I arrived for my appointment the owner was not in the store! She was down the block in her other store. When I went over there (I luckily had her number still in my phone) she let several customers poke around for almost half an hour before coming back with me to the bridal shop for my appointment. I have never started on time for any of my fittings. Overall, it is very annoying, but I love my dress.
