I had a hernia surgery by Dr Michael R Castanello, had extreme pain in stomach five years later. He refused to see me, until I called the President of Staten Island University Hospital North, then he saw me and refused to treat me. I went to NYU where the surgeons said that the mesh I had was infected with ecoli and they removed it. I would say stay away from this doctor, he wont help you when you need him. If you have a problem go to NYU hospital where the real doctors are.
