Michael Dempsey Photography

Michael Dempsey was great to work with prior to and during our April 2015 wedding at Stone House at Stirling Ridge (NJ). He has a very laid-back personality, which means that he seamlessly blends into the event as opposed to some photographers who are pushy, controlling, and in-your-face. He was also very accommodating, and met with us multiple times to review logistics and make sure that everything was planned for. From the first meeting, the photos we saw of his online, and the sample photobooks we reviewed, we knew we would love working with him. He was highly recommended by the staff at Stone House, and knew all of the best shots and lighting for that venue. We gave him a list of the pictures we wanted and he made sure we got them all. Both my wife and I would highly recommend Michael for a wedding, or any other event.

Michael is not only kind, accommodating, and responsive, he took magnificent photos at our wedding. His quiet, calm demeanor was a welcome presence on the big day and he captured all the moments we could have hoped for. During the reception there were a number of times when I thought, "Gosh, I hope Michael gets a picture of this." only to turn around to see him snapping pictures.

Michael Dempsey photographed our wedding in August of 2013, and I can't imagine a more pleasant person to have worked with! He was completely professional, had great ideas about shots we would never have thought of, made sure he completed our list of requested shots and even surprised us with a few lovely candids. He even collected us just in time for the gorgeous sunset, resulting in some of our favorite images from the wedding. I was blown away when we got the images back- Michael is truly talented and I'm so glad we hired him as our photographer!

Mike photographed our wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville CT on 5/4/13. He is an unbelievable photographer. Not only was he a calming presence on the day of, he blended right in with the party. He took amazing pictures that I didn't even realize were being taken at the time! He definitely went the extra mile to photograph every minute of our wedding weekend. He even went as far as to climb up to the top of the house we got married near and planted a camera there to get areal shots of the entire ceremony! It was unbelievable. The pictures from our wedding were so wonderful that the venue decided to put them all over their website. I highly recommend using Mike for any occasion.
