Best grandma slice pizzeria place. Honestly one of the best pizzerias I've been to.

It's your local corner pizza shop, it's either the best pizza you've ever had or it's pretty mediocre.

Always best to pay cash.

After about 8 months I have decided to call it quits with Mia. I used to LOVE this place and touted as the goto pizza place in this part of the neighborhood. Sadly, they have business issues that I can no longer deal with.

Seems like every time I go in there and spend a fairly large amount of money on pizza I would go to pay for it and when I'd pull out my AMEX card they would tell me there was something wrong with the "AMEX machine" and they were having problems processing it. When I insisted on them taking the card they would magically find a way to make it work.

Today I was charged $12.25 for three slices and two sodas and when I pulled out my credit card they told me "Oh, you don't have cash? Well then I'm going to have to charge you tax." - which will more than cover their 5% AMEX surcharge. I suspect this is by design. This brought it to $13.32. The only places, that I'm aware of, that are allowed to charge different prices for cash or credit are gas stations and it pisses people off there too.

It was also really hot in there today and no fans or air conditioning. We had to step outside a few times to cool down while we ate.

So, with a heavy heart, I have to call TOD on my relationship with the lovely Mia. The food is good but the practices are no bueno. Seems Mia is really MIA on business ethics. :-(

Friendly, great prices, and delicious pizza. Can't go wrong with this place. It is my go-to whenever I'm in the area.
