Received a call from Martin, and he was incredibly rude to me, and said I was afraid of a woman once I told him we are not allowed to transfer calls. This organization is a joke, and this guy really needs to find a new line of work.
My advice would be to let Martin find a new career by letting him go immediately.

All I know about this company is that a rep named Martin cold-called our business to solicit his health benefit services and when we explained to him that we did not offer benefits to our employees at this time, he asked us if that "was because we were too cheap".
Now, when the annoyance of having to take solicitation calls is compounded by the needless arrogance of a clearly frustrated telemarketer, the line which delineates "business professionalism" has undoubtedly been crossed (or possibly never attained; whichever way you see it.)
Said incident has made it abundantly clear to me why this business is in need of more customers....
