Metropolitan Tuxedo

I recently purchased a bridal gown from Metropolitan bridal, my wedding is the first week of september 2010 and granted I did order the gown a little late I was told that if the gown needed to be expedited I would have to pay which i had no problem with.
My gown was suposed to be shipped on July 16th. since then they have been telling me it will arrive today its is now August 3rd and still no gown they're assuming that it was shipped out. I spoke with the owner and she was absolutely rude she told me to go watch the news and see for myself that all shipments from China are being delayed and that's why my gown is not in. - The customer service in this place is horrible it really ruins the whole bridal experience - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! all they do is stress out the bride and everyone who enters their store.

I am not going to bother getting into details, but PLEASE stay away from this place. They are nasty liars!

I went to metropolitan bridal because the prices were much cheaper than the other bridal stores on Staten Island-what a mistake! The alterations done on my dress were horrible and took so long to do, something that could of been done in 1 or 2 fittings took weeks and they dragged it out until just 2 days before the wedding when I finally got my dress. The store is a mess and so unorganized. They got my bridesmaids dresses mixed up with another bridal party who had the same dress...could of been a complete disaster! A word of advice-pay the extra money and go somewhere else.
