How special this Doctor really is the way he always thinks of new treatments not going into surgery right away and he's always there as soon as you call to help as only he can I have never met such a caring and devoted Doctor in my life thanks for everything you continue to do not only to help my wife but everyone u see and your awesome staff are so helpful and very caring always thanks is not enough God bless you and your entire staff and family

Metropolitan Pain Consultants has really helped me get my life back. Dr. Richard Kang is one of the greatest doctors that I have ever gone to because he works to make sure you can still live your life.

Dr. Kang knows his material backwards and forwards. He does not talk above you but puts his diagnoses and solutions in terms that you understand. So when you get home from the doctor’s office and your family asks you, “What happened?” you can actually answer their questions.

Dr. Kang knows his material so well that not after 5 minutes after my father described the pain he was having in his legs, He had an idea of what the problem was. This was beyond astonishing because after six years and no answers from many other doctors, Dr. Kang had given us a solution.

The staff is very understanding and kind. Sometimes there is a long wait to see the doctor but that is because Dr. Kang puts time into every patient’s appointment. It also depends on what time your appointment is. The waiting and examination rooms are also very clean and well furnished.

I have never met a Dr like Dr Kang, He is such a great Dr that I feel comfortable and saying I feel he has become a friend. He has helped me deal with my pain I have in my neck that I have been suffering from for years. He knew exactly what and how to help me deal with getting through the pain. I have had serveral injection done with him and his hands are like magic he is gentle after every proedure I would feel like a brand knew person, Dr Kang is friendly, kind, sincere, empathetic and takes his oath as a Dr very seriously. Dr Kang is the best at what he does for that reason I would recommend Dr Kang 100% Let me not forget the office staff who are excellent anything you need they are there to answer your question. Everyone in the office respect your time and value you as a patient. They are helpfull in anyway they can be of service over all there is no better place then Metropolitan Pain Consultant to help you get to a better healthier you.

Dr. Kang is an amazing physician. He is extremely intelligent and well-versed in the latest technologies, available treatments, and techniques, but most importantly- he is gracious and considerate. His compassion is obvious within minutes of speaking to him, and he has worked with me over the course of a few years to find the right treatment for the right time. He is accommodating to my preferences, patient to answer all of my concerns and questions (believe me I ask many!), and he remembers every single detail even from a few years prior. I have felt comfortable going into every procedure with him, and have always had positive results. Most importantly, Dr. Kang has been the only physician to correctly diagnose and then treat my injuries. He also has a great network of colleagues and has been able to connect me with other physicians to treat any remaining symptoms, or partner with him for surgery, but he has always been at the center of my treatment. I am so grateful to be under his care.

I ran into my cousin in the waiting room one time and found out she was seeing Dr. Kang as well for different problems, but he has done wonders for her too. He is often the topic of holiday dinner table conversation because prior to going to Dr. Kang, we were both struggling with debilitating pain and had been to countless doctors with no results. Our entire family is forever appreciative of him.
