All the reviews about how terrible the customer service is and everyone's bad attitude is completely correct!! I called to get a price on plywood and the first man who picked up the phone cut me off to put me on hold (which I can live with) but then another man picked up so I repeated myself to him and he says "..and??" - then I ask for a price total on some plywood and delivery, and he replies "no i cannot because I've got other things going on right now." I'm not about leaving nasty reviews because I'm just not one of those people that tries to bring a business down, especially a local one. But they are the rudest people I've met in my 2 years of working in Soho - most people in the neighborhood are so welcoming and kind. I felt like I was a complete inconvenience to them. I guess they're only nice to people who call for huge expensive orders.

These guys know their stuff and expect you to.

The reviewers here are not exaggerating about the awful service and even worse attitude the staff has! Just like others have written I was hung up on in the middle of getting a quote for a 4 X 10 piece of wood. Sound simple enough right? Not for the morons who work here!!

Quick a good attention

This place has lots of wood and tools, and it's right in the heart of SoHo. You've got your boutiques, your Italian restaurants, and this here lumber yard. It's great. They do key copying too, and you can sometimes get the guys in the lumber area to do special jobs for a negotiated fee, like carry something heavy up to your house. They're great.
