Metro Auto Body

On November 5th I had the unfortunate experience of being hit by a NYC cab running a red light at the intersection of 39th Street and 5th Avenue. Passenger side air bags were deployed and there was substantial damage to my vehicle. Luckily my passenger and I had minimal injuries and we were able to walk away.
Metro Auto Body was contacted to have my CRV towed to its facility in Queens. Needless to say I was concerned because Queens is quite a distance from my home in NJ and I wasn’t sure how to proceed. The flat bed driver, Rocco, was so reassuring and considerate offering options on how to get repairs done. I could either have it towed to NJ or have Metro do the repairs and they would arrange to deliver my car so that I didn’t have to drive to Queens (which to me could have been the same as driving to Mars!).
After reading great reviews and checking Better Business Bureau ratings about Metro, I decided to bite the bullet and go with them. Everyone I dealt with at Metro was extremely courteous and professional. They knew exactly what to do and reassured me every step of the way. They communicated with my insurance company when necessary to expedite matters.
When my CRV was returned, it looked brand new again!
I can’t say enough about Metro Auto Body and being from NJ I can be pretty cynical. Thank you to everyone for helping make this horrible experience turn out as well as it did. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!!!

I had a really good experience with Metro Auto Body. My car was hit by another car which had never happened to me before. I was frazzled and had no idea what to do. I was in good hands with the friendly staff at Metro. They were super helpful (and I didn't feel like I was being tricked, which is usually my experience when dealing with my car). They took care of everything, they called insurance and called for my rental car as well. Two weeks later, my car looked brand new. I'd recommend them to anyone.

My husband got into a car accident in Manhattan, it was a three car accident. The tow truck from metro auto body picked up our car, a honda accord which was in bad shape. Pat, was the one that showed up at the accident and towed the car! He was sooo helpful in the information he gaves us , he even gave me a call @ my cell phone and reassured me that my car would be like new again...i must say they did a phenomenal job and it took 2wks to get my car back due to the fact that my insurance adjustor took 5 days to visit the shop. I am completely satisfied and they truly know the word:CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They delivered my car infront of my house in New Jersey and did an amazing job, my car looks like it never went through an accident..I will recommend them to all my family and friends..I also want to add that the manager(Joe) was exceptional, he was very professional and helpful! I got into a car accident in Manhattan. A yellow taxi smashed the entire left side of my car. The police came and told me they called a tow truck for me. Some guy named Johnny showed up and explained everything to me. I had no idea how any of this works being my first accident. Boy, did they make it easy. They handled everything for me. I got my car back 8 days after the accident. My cadillac CTS looks like the day I drove it off the show room. These guys were so professional, and give awesome customer service. I hope I don't get into any more accidents, but if I do, only one shop is touching my car. Metro Auto Body. And no. They didn't pay me for this. I just feel you give credit when it's due.
